The founder. Ernst founded Canmore Woodcrafters with his wife Sandra in 1979, and passed the business on to Brian in 2015. Originally from Switzerland he immigrated to Canada in the early 70’s and worked as a mountain guide until he started Canmore Woodcrafters. In his retirement he enjoys travelling, trekking in Nepal, charity work, all types of skiing and hiking.
